I’ve been telling stories for most of my life...
And over time, I started to notice something.
Even after years of working professionally in film and publishing, there were days when I wanted to create and simply couldn’t access it. The internal doorway felt closed. And the harder I pushed, the heavier the door grew.
That experience taught me something important:
understanding story is only half the battle. The other half is learning how to navigate yourself.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of story, the subconscious, and creative access.
I believe everyone has a story to tell and whether they realize it or not that story has the power to change the world. But most people don't tell it. Not because they don't want to, but because they don't know where to begin, they get stuck or lost, or they doubt themselves every step of the way. And when those stories aren't told, the change they can create doesn't happen.
This belief is what led me to focus on storytelling as both a craft and a calling, and help people move past the inner blocks that inevitably show up once the work begins. Along the way, I’ve developed tools – including the Power of Mythmaking curriculum, Creative Circuit Method™, Story Reps™, and others – to educate, support, and encourage people to embark on their own storytelling journey.

BIOGRAPHY
Todd Calgi Gallicano is the author of "Guardians of the Gryphon’s Claw," "The Selkie of San Francisco," and "Search for the Swan Maiden," the first three books in the Sam London Adventure series. According to School Library Journal, the new middle-grade series is "sure to keep lovers of Rick Riordan running to the shelves,” and PopSugar named it one of “The 20 Series Your Kid Should Read After Harry Potter.”

When he’s not working on the next Sam London adventure, Mr. Gallicano is a Hollywood screenwriter. He has sold screenplays to DreamWorks SKG and Netflix, and has developed scripts with 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros., as well as production companies such as Blumhouse, Mad Chance, and Heyday Films.
He is the executive producer and writer of the Netflix original "Best. Christmas. Ever!" The film stars Heather Graham, Brandy Norwood, Matt Cedeno, and Jason Biggs. It held the number one spot in the world for six days and remained in the top ten for several weeks.
Variety praised the film, saying, "Perhaps the greatest gift of all is that 'Best. Christmas. Ever!' not only ties into the Netflix Holiday Cinematic Universe, but also enhances it by providing a solid new entry filled with charm and sweetness."
Mr. Gallicano has spoken about storytelling and the shared human experience to thousands of people of all ages at schools, book festivals, and publishing conferences from Silicon Valley to the U.A.E. His talk on "Becoming the Hero in Your Story," brings the mythic hero into today's world, teaching audiences how the ancient can inform the modern and inspiring all to see the hero inside themselves.
He was recently a speaker at Mindvalley University in Amsterdam, where he shared his latest work, "The Power of Mythmaking: How to Tell Your Story and Change the World." Now an online course, the "Power of Mythmaking" demystifies the storytelling process through a simple but powerful methodology that blends ancient mythic structure, subconscious integration tools drawn from hypnosis, and soul-level creative expression.
